Wednesday, March 4th: Nunsense A-Men! A Habit-Forming Musical Comedy
Join us for a night at the Spokane Civic Theatre. Nunsense A-Men! is basically the original “Nunsense” show with all of the characters being portrayed by male musical comedy performers. A whole new layer of comedy surfaces with lines like “The guys in the old neighborhood still can’t believe I became a nun!” To quote the New York Times: “A change of habit, boy oh, boy!” Wine Social Hour: 6:30 PM ~ Curtain Time: 7:30 PM ~ Tickets $30.00 general seating

Sunday, March 8th: Columbia Basin Brunch
Join us in supporting the programs of LCSNW in the Columbia Basin area on Sunday, March 8th at the Red Lion Hotel - Pasco. The afternoon’s activities begin with a 12:00 p.m. social hour, followed at 1:00 p.m, by a brunch buffet and program. Our program features LCSNW President & CEO, David Duea; a heartwarming client story; and the presentation of the Wiseman Award to an individual or organization for outstanding community service.

Join us in supporting the programs of LCSNW in the South Puget Sound area on Sunday, March 15th at the Landmark Convention Center in Tacoma. Jaech, SW Washington Synod ELCA; an amazing client story; and the presentation of the John Briehl Award to an individual or organization for outstanding community service.

Saturday, April 18th: Chocolate & Champagne Gala
The 2014 Chocolate & Champagne Gala was a huge success raising over $70,000! Thank you to our sponsors, chocolate vendors, and all who attended. We look forward to another great event in April 2015 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel in the Spokane Valley! Tickets will go on sale February 2nd.

April 24th-26th: Children Are Our Flowers - Boise
This year's "Children Are Our Flowers" event takes place from April 24-26 in the Boise area.. Purchase flowers and plants at participating florists & garden centers displaying this sign at the right. 10% of all sales benefit Lutheran Community Services’ school-based prevention programs. Saturday, May 2nd: Hope House Fundraising Dinner
Lutheran Community Services will be hosting its annual fundraising dinner in Astoria on May 2, 2014. The venue for this event will be the Liberty Theater. Social hour is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The dinner/program begins at 6:30 p.m. The program will introduce David Duea, the new President/CEO of LCSNW. The proceeds from this dinner will go to support the programs of Hope House.

Saturday, June 6th: 3rd Annual June Bug Fun Run
Let’s Run Together for Strong, Healthy Kids!
Join us for a community celebration of health & fitness. June Bug Fun Run is a perfect event for elite runners to families and kiddos in strollers. Participants enjoy a 3 or 5 mile run/walk along a scenic course of the Spokane River on South Riverton and Upriver Drive Centennial Trail. At the end of the event, participants enjoy snacks and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.
All proceeds benefit the programs of Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW). LCSNW helps children and families in our community who have been victims or witnesses to sexual assault and/or other violent crimes. We are privileged to touch the lives of people of all ages, cultures, and faiths. Lutheran Community Services Northwest partners with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope.
