Healthy Families of Yamhill County

We work with you and your baby in your home

Healthy Families is our voluntary program focused on strengthening the parent-child relationship to ensure healthy growth and development in young children.

Our trained home visitors support parents in cultivating a nurturing, positive relationship with their baby. Parents are coached on how to build parenting skills and help their baby stay safe and healthy. We provide information on child development, infant care and infant health.

Healthy Families is Oregon’s largest child abuse prevention program. Healthy Families has been proven to reduce child maltreatment and increase children’s readiness for school.

Give your baby a strong start!

We serve families with children ages 0-3. Families experiencing high stress such as limited resources, domestic violence, substance use, mental health issues and insecure housing qualify for our most intensive services. Families can enroll during pregnancy, and must be enrolled by the time the baby is 3 months old.
