Substance Use Treatment and DUII

Supporting individuals to create long-term positive changes

We bring compassion and experience to our work with people who are seeking substance use treatment.   Our goal is to support individuals to create long-term positive changes in their lives and the lives of their families.

The most common substances our clients use are methamphetamine, heroin, opioids, marijuana and alcohol. How long treatment lasts depends on the client, but the general range is three months to two years. All treatment services are confidential.

Professional help

We treat people on an outpatient basis through personalized  individual and group therapy.

Our clinicians are Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC) with a background in mental health and at least three years of experience.

We meet clients where they are at in their lives, which creates treatment “buy-in.” We only use evidence-based practices based on the MATRIX model as well as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy for substance use disorders.

The Oregon Health Plan generally pays for treatment even if it is mandated. Third party or private insurance usually does not cover mandated treatment. We have a sliding-fee scale based on income and best cash price.

Our program is for people who have been charged with a DUII, whether you believe you have a serious problem with drugs or alcohol or not.

For those who are eligible for a Diversion program with the court, when you successfully complete the program, charges are dismissed.

We assist people who have had their licenses revoked or suspended with:

  • DUII Education – 16 hours is required.
  • Treatment – Evaluation is required and we offer individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitoring and case management – Each client’s situation is different.

Referrals to our program come from the District Attorney’s office, and alcohol and drug evaluation services agencies, as well as self-referrals.

Oregon Medicaid (OHP) will generally pay for treatment.  Most insurances will not pay for mandated treatment. We have a sliding fee scale and other options to pay for treatment.
