YOU can make a difference! Help us provide nutritious food to our refugee and immigrant neighbors facing food insecurity as a volunteer at Angle Lake Community Resource Center.
Food Distribution Volunteers
Volunteers help us unload food donations, sort and bag food items for distribution. Help is needed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at our SeaTac facility. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Volunteer drivers are needed to pick up food donations and deliver them to our CRC sites in SeaTac and Everett. Help is needed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance and a clean driving record. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Data entry volunteers improve our efficiency to serve clients by entering food donations and baby supplies requests into our database system. Should feel comfortable using a keyboard and be able to read English. Must be able to protect clients’ personal information.
ALL interested individuals will be asked to complete a volunteer application and pass a background check. Volunteers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have basic English skills. Speaking additional languages is a plus, especially Spanish, Arabic, Pashto, Dari and French.
