Equipping
people for
citizenship
The celebration of America in early July coincides with the start of summer term for LCSNW Citizenship Classes. Our free classes teach English skills, U.S. history and civics needed for the citizenship exam. You’re never too old to become a citizen, as Beatriz learned.
Reflecting on
60 years in the
Columbia Basin
We are very proud to celebrate our Diamond Jubilee in the Tri-Cities in 2024, marking 60 years of service to Benton and Franklin Counties. We’ve grown from a singular adoption service in 1964 to six youth mental health programs and more than 100 committed staff. Learn more by checking out this anniversary video.
Guiding
refugees to
a safe new home
Meet Marianna, who fled war-torn Ukraine with her mother and made a roundabout journey to their new home in Portland. Many LCSNW employees are former refugees themselves and have helped hundreds of evacuees like Marianna make a fresh start. Read Marianna’s story here.
