Last week marked a major milestone for our agency as we officially opened the doors to our newest location, which is in Gresham, Oregon. The grand opening Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, celebrated the expansion of our behavioral health services and school wellness programs further into Multnomah County.

We were warmly received by local leaders and community partners. Officials from the City of Gresham, Gresham City Police, and Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce helped kick off the celebration. Their presence underscored the strong local support for our mission and the vital role our services play in the region.

Chamber CEO Lynn Snodgrass warmed the audience to LCSNW and its history by sharing a story about the way we helped mother-daughter clients find a home after fleeing Ukraine.

Another highlight of the event was a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Gresham Mayor Travis Stovall, whose remarks emphasized the importance of accessible mental health care and the value of community partnerships. “Across the nation we are all struggling with a lack of services that you are now going to provide in this great city,” said Mayor Stovall prior to cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

“To see this service delivered right here in Gresham is a tremendous win for the folks who live here,” Stovall said.

Staff from across our agency attended, along with invited guests, and stakeholders who have supported our services. An estimated 80-plus people attended.

The Gresham office provides trauma-informed counseling and case management, delivered by a multilingual, multicultural team. It reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are — both geographically and culturally — and ensuring that behavioral health care is inclusive, respectful, and effective.

In addition, a team from our Community Integration Services is based at the office. Those staff work Gresham-Barlow schools..

We’re grateful for the enthusiastic welcome from the Gresham community and look forward to deepening our impact in the area. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success!

The office is at 2074 NE Burnside Road, Gresham, Oregon, 97030.
