Interventions for Safe Families works to stabilize families and re-unify families when separation has occurred. Our programs help families navigate crisis, strengthen connections, and access practical support to keep children and families safe, stable, and supported. Our services range from prevention, intervention and postvention. Families are referred to our programs in many different ways.

Safe Families for Children surrounds parents with a caring community of support during stressful or challenging times. When families feel isolated, overwhelmed, or in need of extra help, trained volunteers and community partners provide encouragement, practical resources, mentoring, and safe, temporary care for children. By building trusted relationships before a crisis leads to child welfare involvement, our team helps connect parents to the resources and support they need to move forward with confidence.

We provide comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services for individuals, families, and groups. Our team supports children, adolescents, adults, caregivers, and families across Yamhill County. Services include: mental health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, case management, medication management, skill-building services, peer support services.
