Compass and LCSNW team up for Seahawks Spirit of 12

Oct 8, 2026

Building community is more than a phrase for Compass Housing Alliance, a division of LCSNW. It is a calling that the Compass team lives out every day by partnering with their guests, residents, and neighbors to make the Puget Sound region a safer, more caring community.

One of the neighbors you may have heard about is the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.

For the third consecutive season, the Seahawks selected Compass as a Spirit of 12 partner, a competitive honor that makes Compass the third longest-tenured partner in the program. On October 4, Compass co-led the game’s 50/50 raffle volunteer team at Lumen Field. Compass volunteers and LCSNW colleagues and community members sold more than $140,000 in raffle tickets — a Compass regular-season record! The nonprofit share of the season-long raffle sales supports Compass and all other Spirit of 12 partners.

The October 4 volunteer team was a genuine community effort, with a large group from LCSNW joining for the first time following Compass’ January 2026 merger with LCSNW. The team of nearly 40 people included program volunteers, corporate partners, staff members, and a significant number of family members and friends. What a great start to the season, culminating in a Seahawks win over the Los Angeles Chargers!

Jen Miller participated with her husband, Tim. “When I received the email saying I could be a part of raising funds for Compass by just using my time and my voice, it was a very easy yes,” said Jen, an Administrative Assistant in LCSNW’s Greater Puget Sound District. “I sold over $4,000 in raffle tickets and had a blast meeting so many new people and telling them how their money is going to a great cause. We are looking forward to the next event we can be a part of!”

So how does it work?. Every NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks select twelve organizations to form the Spirit of 12 cohort. Each organization provides volunteers at Seahawks home games and sells raffle tickets that are split 50/50 between the lucky ticket winner and the 12 nonprofits.

Compass staff were all smiles as they worked the event space before the game.

“The 12s get it,” said Ted, a Seahawks lifetime fan, as he bought his raffle tickets. “I do this every game and I love the charities it supports. It’s just what we do out here in Seattle.”

So far, over the past two seasons, the 12s have raised more than $233,000 for Compass programs. And with such a strong start, we can’t wait to see what this season will bring.

More games are available for volunteers to raise funds for the Spirit of 12. It is fun, fast, and a great way to spend a Sunday helping make things better for neighbors in need. Plus, you are surrounded by happy fans, bright costumes, live music, and a group of volunteers who always bring their A game.

Thanks to this partnership with the Seahawks and the always-enthusiastic 12s, Compass and LCSNW are ready to aim even higher! Go HAWKS! Go Compass!
