Klamath Falls District Director Message – Fall 2026

Oct 8, 2026

A message from Klamath Falls District Director Nora Foster

I am excited to announce an expansion of behavioral health services in Klamath Falls with the introduction of Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Treatment (IIBHT) for children, youth, and young adults ages 0-20.

This new service is designed to provide comprehensive, family-centered behavioral health support in the comfort and familiarity of a youth’s home and community. IIBHT helps address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges that may impact a young person’s daily functioning at home, school, and within the community.

Our team works closely with youth, families, caregivers, schools, medical providers, and other community partners to develop individual treatment plans that promote stability, resilience, and long-term success. Services may include skills development, crisis prevention, family support, care coordination, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each family’s unique needs.

By bringing treatment directly into the home and community, we can better support families where challenges occur most often. We can also reduce barriers to care and strengthen the natural supports that help children and youth thrive. This approach allows for meaningful collaboration with caregivers and provides practical tools that can be used in everyday situations.

I am proud that our team can offer this important service to the Klamath Basin community. We look forward to expanding access to quality behavioral health care for local families. If you would like to learn more about IIBHT or referral opportunities, please contact our office for additional information.

Together, we can help children, youth, and families build healthier futures and stronger communities.
