A New Front Door: Introducing Our Redesigned LCSNW Website

Sep 10, 2026

After months of planning and teamwork, LCSNW has launched a new website, our first since 2017. It’s more than a new look—it’s shaped by what we heard from staff, clients, and donors about how to make the site easier to use.

At the start, our design partner, Fenton, led group sessions to gather feedback. People shared similar thoughts again and again: They want to find information faster, with fewer clicks. They said the current site feels hard to navigate, with unclear language and an outdated design. That feedback guided every step of this project.

The new website is designed with clients and potential clients in mind. It has a clean, modern look and simpler language. Information is easier to find, and pages are organized to help people get what they need quickly.

“This new site is streamlined, more accessible and user-friendly for clients,” said Heike Lake, LCSNW COO. “At its core, the new approach strengthens our ability to tell our story clearly and compellingly, ultimately helping advance our mission.”

One substantive difference is how program details are presented. Instead of many separate pages, programs are listed in directories organized by geographic area.

Programs that need more than a directory listing, such as Santa for Seniors, have their own landing pages. Other service areas, such as Compass Housing Alliance and Safe Route Immigration, still have separate websites.

Another key feature on the new site is the location pages, which serve as a hub for our nine districts serving distinct geographic areas. These pages work like mini homepages, giving each district a strong and clear presence online.

Our redesigned site reflects what people asked for. It will help us show up to clients and potential clients in a clearer, more useful way.
