One of the fun things about joining Gresham’s Teddy Bear Parade last month was seeing downtown filled with children and families waving, cheering, and celebrating alongside their neighbors.
I’m reminded of just how many different people, backgrounds, and stories make up our community.
If you asked me what belonging looks like, I’d probably point to parade day in downtown Gresham.
At LCSNW, helping people find their sense of belonging is at the heart of our work. Through our behavioral health services in Gresham, and through programs across the Portland metro area and around the Pacific Northwest, we help people access care, build connections, and create opportunities to thrive.
This year, we’re celebrating 100 years of service in this region. Much has changed over the past century, however, our commitment to walking alongside people and communities remains.
This newsletter offers a glimpse into that work. Thank you for your interest in LCSNW and for being part of the communities we are privileged to serve.
