Program Assistant Volunteers
Need to help with the telephone, filing, computer and data entry, copying and other administrative tasks. Duties vary by program. Works closely with Program Director or designee. Meals on Wheels
Volunteer Driver
Be a part of making a difference in someone's life! We are seeking a volunteer driver for our Meals on Wheels program. This person will deliver frozen meals once a week in the Pierce County area with mileage reimbursement. Eligible candidates must be able to pass a background check, have a WA driver's license, car insurance, and food handler's card. Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

Senior Friends

Make a difference in an elder's life! Become a friend to an isolated senior in your community and help them remain as independent as possible.Senior Friends are over 18, enjoy the company of elders, able to drive or navigate by transit, and able to commit 4 hours/month for a year. For more information, please contact Linda McCone, 253-722-5691.

Senior Scene Drivers

The Early Stage Memory Loss (ESML) Zoo Walk
ESML Zoo Walk is in need of two more volunteers to walk with us at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. We are looking for individuals who enjoy the company of elders to accompany our group of people with ESML and their care partners for a morning walk through the zoo followed by refreshments at the café. The walks occur weekly with breaks between each 8 week session and for holidays.
