Our Impact

Family and Community Support

We make a powerful impact on people and communities by breaking cycles of poverty and trauma

Our family centers are warm and welcoming places in the community. We offer parenting education, child development activities, support groups, resource fairs, community referrals and connections to basic needs like food, clothing, health care, housing and employment. Our caring and committed staff represent the communities and cultures we serve.

Our North Puget Sound office operates three community resource centers. The Angle Lake center is in SeaTac in King County. Two centers are located in Snohomish County: Everett and Familias Unidas.

Family support services in Port Angeles and Clallam County, and a respite program for military families who have children with special needs are offered in the South Puget Sound district.

We offer multiple family support programs in Yamhill County providing basic needs assistance, resource navigation, mental health counseling, and both scheduled and emergency respite care so that parents under stress can take a break to focus on personal and family stabilization.

School-based behavioral services are available in Klamath Falls and Yamhill County.

You are welcome here.
We offer services without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious belief, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, ability, military or veteran status, source of income or political affiliation.

We're determined to keep vulnerable families together and help children thrive! That's why our #klamathfalls Relief Nursery Manager, Joseph Maurer, spent a day meeting with leaders at the Oregon Capitol. Relief nurseries all over the state, including ours in KFalls and #yamhillcounty, are counting on their support. Thank you, Rep. Emily McIntire (top photo, center) and State Senator Dennis Linthicum (bottom photo, center). Also thanks to Rep. Kim Wallan (not pictured). #HealthJusticeHope #parenteducation #orleg ... Nine years ago Thursday, the Oso mudslide in #snohomishcounty Washington killed 43 people. Take a moment to remember through the inspiring words of Tim Ward, who lost his wife and was part of our agency's Oso Survivors Support Group. #osostrong #survivorstories #HealthJusticeHope Oso Slide Memorial ...
