Better lives mean better communities. So we partner with thousands of people as they make their journeys from addiction, trauma and mental health issues to recovery, hope and happiness.

We offer counseling services, drug and alcohol treatment and prevention programs, and support and advocacy for victims of crime and sexual assault. Our staff is as diverse and multicultural as the people we serve. We work collaboratively with community partners to leverage the resources our clients need to recover, heal and thrive. Services vary by region.

Clinical mental health counseling can be accessed in Vancouver, Portland, Beaverton, North Puget Sound, Tri-Cities, SpokaneYamhill County, Astoria, Central Oregon and Klamath Falls.

Substance abuse treatment services are offered at Klamath Falls and Central Oregon locations.

Cross-cultural counseling services for refugees and immigrants are available at Portland, Beaverton, Vancouver and North Puget Sound (Kent and SeaTac) locations. In addition, North Puget Sound provides services for asylum seekers.

On this Thankful Tuesday, we at LCS Northwest are thankful for YOU. Your generous support has allowed us to prepare for an unprecedented wave of refugees from Afghanistan. We want to keep you up-to-date with the most current information we have about these arrivals. Due to the sheer number of people being processed and the vaccination timeline, the intake process is lasting longer than we expected.

We know that over 50,000 people are going through the intake process on United States military bases. Once this process is completed, the refugees will begin arriving in our service areas. We anticipate that they will begin arriving in the beginning of October. Our staff is using this time to line up safe housing options, employment opportunities, medical care, translators, transportation assistance and more for these individuals. We are also hiring additional team members to come alongside and support these individuals and families upon their arrival.

We are so thankful for your passion and support for this community. We will continue to update you as the process moves forward. #HealthJusticeHope
