Our Impact

We are a pathway to a stable life for people facing devastating hardships

For nearly a century, Lutheran Community Services Northwest has been making our world a safer, healthier and more hopeful place to live. Thanks to the support of our generous donors, we save lives and create thriving communities enriched by the diversity and strengths of people who have triumphed over adversity.

Thanks to the generosity of our government, foundations, businesses and individual funders, we are helping people recover from mental health, trauma and addiction issues; supporting families beset by trauma and poverty; resettling and supporting refugees; finding foster homes for neglected children and working with families to keep at-risk teens from being removed from their homes; helping seniors and people with disabilities remain independent and standing up for victims of crime.

We're determined to keep vulnerable families together and help children thrive! That's why our #klamathfalls Relief Nursery Manager, Joseph Maurer, spent a day meeting with leaders at the Oregon Capitol. Relief nurseries all over the state, including ours in KFalls and #yamhillcounty, are counting on their support. Thank you, Rep. Emily McIntire (top photo, center) and State Senator Dennis Linthicum (bottom photo, center). Also thanks to Rep. Kim Wallan (not pictured). #HealthJusticeHope #parenteducation #orleg ...
