individuals participating in a group therapy sessionThe Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) program of LCSNW Tri-Cities is dedicated to supporting youth on their journey to mental health and emotional well-being by focusing on their strengths and promoting mental wellness. Our integrated approach ensures that every young person receives the care and resources they need to thrive. The OPMH program was designed to eliminate barriers and provide timely access to mental health support for youth up to age 21.

  • Enhance the quality of life for participants by promoting coping strategies and emotional regulation.
  • Empower families by involving them as integral partners in the treatment process and providing educational resources.
  • Ensure medication management is safe and effective for youth when needed.

Our team includes therapists, psychiatric prescribers, and case managers dedicated to holistic care.

Telehealth Options

Access to medication management, therapy, and case management services via telehealth for convenience and accessibility.

Assessment and Intake:

Initial evaluations to understand each youth’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals.

 

Therapy Services:

  • Individual Therapy: One-on-one sessions with skilled therapists using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and play therapy for younger clients.
  • Family Therapy:  Involvement of family members in therapy sessions to strengthen support systems and improve communication.
  • Group Therapy:  Facilitated groups that focus on various topics, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and social skills development.

 

Case Management

  • Coordination of Services: Collaboration with schools, community organizations, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic support.
  • Resource Connection: Assistance in accessing additional resources such as housing support, educational services, and vocational training.
  • Ongoing Support: Regular check-ins and support to help youth build needed skills, navigate challenges and celebrate successes in their personal development.

 

Medication Management

  • Psychiatric Evaluation: Initial and ongoing assessments by a licensed psychiatric prescriber to evaluate the need for medication.
  • Medication Monitoring: Regular follow-ups to assess efficacy, side effects, and adherence to medication plans.
  • Education: Providing youth and families with information about medications, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence.
