Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe)
WISe came out of a need to serve youth with mental and behavioral health challenges in their homes and communities to decrease the reliance on out-of-home placements. When other strategies haven’t worked, it’s time to try WISe.
The WISe program offers:
- Facilitation of the wraparound process to identify needs behind the behavior.
- Development of individualized plans to address those needs while allowing the youth to remain at home.
- A team-based, collaborative approach with the family’s voice at the center.
- A therapist to help youth process life events and find healing.
- A focus on strengths and providing multi-level support to the family and youth.
WISe is a focused and purposeful program, tailored to the specific needs of the family and youth, using the strengths each member brings. WISe equips families with skills to manage the stress and complexities of having a child with mental and behavioral health challenges while allowing them to safely remain at home and in the community. We specialize in working with youth who have multiple system involvements including Juvenile Justice, Child Protective Services, etc.
WISe is a voluntary program serving youth under the age of 21 who are Medicaid eligible and have a qualifying mental health diagnosis.
To make a referral for WISe services through LCSNW, please contact our intake professionals at 509-747-8224. All families interested in services will be invited to participate in an in-person, tele-health or telephone screening.
Family Outreach Crisis Intervention Services (FOCIS)
FOCIS is a 30-day intervention for families of children who are experiencing a mental health and behavioral crisis. Our in-home and community-based services include:
- Mental health therapy
- Therapeutic aid services
- Intensive case management
- 24-hour crisis on-call support
- Care coordination and connection to resources
We use a Wraparound philosophy with a team approach focusing on strengths and the family. Our Child and Family Team works to establish community supports that assists families after FOCIS.
FOCIS is appropriate for families who require additional support to successfully transition from in-patient care. At the same time, we strive to prevent the need for a higher level of service such as hospitalization.
This program is for children 18 years old and younger and their families. The availability of FOCIS is limited. The first step in applying for FOCIS is for the primary therapist to fax a completed referral form to 509-747-0609 or call our Intake team at 509-747-8224.
Problematic Sexualized Behaviors
We offer this specialized treatment process for youth with problematic sexualized behavior that focuses on education, supervision, family support, community collaboration, and therapeutic intervention. Our goal is to reduce the occurrence of problematic sexualized behaviors for individual youth and the community as a whole.
We primarily work with youth age 17 and younger. We serve Medicaid eligible families and accept some private insurance. Please note that we do not currently have a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) on staff, so services provided may not conform to some court requirements such as SSODA or SSOSA treatment. To enroll in this program, please contact our Intake Team at 509-747-8224.
