About Parent Cafe

Parent Cafés are welcoming, supportive spaces where parents come together to share, listen, and connect around the real-life experiences of raising a family. Whether you’re celebrating a parenting win, working through a tough moment, or navigating big changes like a child starting school or becoming a teenager, these conversations are grounded in honesty, empathy, and community.

At each Café, you’ll have the chance to reflect deeply, hear from others who understand what you’re going through, and discover your own strengths. You’ll also explore the Protective Factors—key ingredients for strong, resilient families—and walk away with practical ideas and renewed energy to support your loved ones and yourself.

Most of all, Parent Cafés are about real people, real stories, and real support. You’ll leave feeling heard, inspired, and empowered.

Parent Cafes are held on the 2nd Monday of each month. Registration is required in advance – click here to sign up!

5:15-6:00—Dinner is served (Free for the whole family!)
6:00-8:00—Parent Cafe (Free childcare is provided)

Volunteer

Our amazing volunteers make Parent Cafes possible! There are a few ways you can get involved:

Become a childcare volunteer: Help watch children during Cafes so that parents can have time to connect and learn with other parents,

Provide a meal: Donate or prepare a dinner for a monthly Cafe. Gift cards and freezer meals are helpful, or gather a few friends and prepare and serve a meal together! We typically serve around 50 people each month.

Donate gift cards: Gas and grocery gift cards are awarded to families each month based on recurring participation.
