You can help people in our communities by giving to one of these one-day online giving events in May.

Kitsap Great Give – May 2

Kitsap Great Give is a 24-hour, online giving event organized by the Kitsap Community Foundation. By donating to LCS Northwest during the event you will help seniors with home care, respite care, caregiver support, essential publications and volunteer opportunities.

On May 2, visit the Kitsap Great Give website and help people in need by making a gift to Lutheran Community Services Northwest. Beginning April 18, you can pre-schedule your donation before the May 2 event date. Your donation to LCS Northwest on the Great Give website will help us earn a portion of the bonus pool.

Idaho Gives – May 4

Idaho Gives brings people around the state together to raise money and awareness for Idaho nonprofits like Lutheran Community Services Northwest. Idaho Gives is a program of the Idaho Nonprofit Center.

On May 4, visit the Idaho Gives website and donate to Lutheran Community Services Northwest. Your gifts will help children in more than 30 schools make better choices through our Positive Action and Second Step programs. You will also help refugee and immigrant children become part of our communities through our ESL/literacy program in partnership with Dove Mission Initiative.

Donations help LCS Northwest be eligible for special monetary prizes and random matching donations.

GiveBIG – May 10

LCS Northwest is participating in GiveBIG, the Greater Seattle community’s online day of giving hosted by the Seattle Foundation. Your gift through GiveBIG to LCS Northwest will support our essential work in the North Puget Sound area: foster care, family support and refugee services. Your donations help over 3,000 families and individuals annually.

On May 10, GiveBIG for children, families and refugees with a gift to Lutheran Community Services Northwest. Unable to participate on May 10? You can give early beginning April 27.

Your online gifts will help us earn matching contributions PLUS it may help us leverage additional funds through GiveBIG Dollars for Change.
