Remembering Terri Austin-Randolph

Feb 8, 2021 | Advocacy

Longtime LCS Northwest supporter and advocate Terri Austin-Randolph of Silverdale, WA passed away recently.

“Terri was an angel living on earth,” said LCS Northwest President and CEO David Duea. “Terri loved the ministry and mission of LCS. You will not come across a kinder person.”

Terri served on the LCS Northwest Board of Directors for four years. She finished out an unexpired term in 2013. She then completed one full three-year board term in 2014-2016.

“She was a great board member, always advocating for those we serve,” David said. “I will miss Terri’s laugh and wisdom she would provide at the board meetings and when we would go to lunch together in Bremerton.”

Raised in Dayton, OH, Terri studied electrical engineering at Tennessee State University. That’s where she met her husband, Randy Randolph, who survives her. Terri was an active member of Silverdale Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and served as a youth mentor.

“Terri was also a tireless advocate for social justice and welcomed the opportunity to get into ‘Good Trouble’ as the late John Lewis would often say,” states her obituary, which you can read here.
