8 Lakes Bike Ride is Going VIRTUAL!

May 30 to June 5, 2021, we will be hosting the 23rd annual 8 Lakes Leg Aches VIRTUAL bike ride.  After the outpouring of support during last year’s virtual bike ride, and the need to limit the spread of COVID-19 for participants, volunteers, and staff, we have made the tough decision to do a self-guided, self-supported virtual event again this year.

You pick your favorite ride. Take the journey from your own doorstep during the week of May 30-June 5.  Ride in one session or break it up into sections throughout the week.  Share your experience and photos on 8 Lakes Facebook Events or Instagram using #8Lakes. Be Safe, Stay Healthy, and Recreate Responsibly.

Register for the ride. Each registered rider receives a Goody Bag with snacks, water, Gatorade, a certificate for 3-slices of David’s Pizza, and any swag you purchase.

Plan your route. Since we’re not gathering in Spokane, the sky’s the limit! You can cycle around the block, around town, on rural roads, on a favorite trail, or in the comfort of your living room on a trainer. You can also ride one of our 8 Lakes routes. It’s your choice.

Enjoy your ride anytime between May 30 and June 5.

Document and share your ride on social media. Be sure to use the #8lakes hashtag so we can enjoy it with you!  Join us for a Facebook Live Finish Line activity on June 5 between 8:00-11:00 AM.

Pedaling for a purpose

Please help us celebrate our legacy of Health, Justice and Hope.  2021 is a significant year for LCS Northwest as our Spokane office celebrates its 65th anniversary, and our larger organization celebrates its 100th anniversary.  We have touched the lives of people of all ages, cultures, and faiths. We partner with them on their journey to heal, find hope and become contributing members of our communities.
