Hispanic Heritage Month!

Thank you for joining us for Celebracion, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Since 1968, Hispanic Heritage Month has been observed to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of those from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America, beginning on September 15th – the anniversary of the independence of Latin American countries.

Celebracion events will be streamed on Facebook Live from September 15th through October 15th, community education delivered in Spanish with topics important to the Latino community, LCSNW programs, and opportunities to learn more about Hispanic Heritage.

We will also be discussing some of the impacts that COVID 19 has had on our Hispanic neighbors, including increased rates of infection, significant impacts on employment, food security, and housing. We invite you to support our programs by donating here!
