Our Community Resource Center in Snohomish County provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive support to individuals and families experiencing instability or crisis. Also known as the Familias Unidas Community Resource Center, it is a welcoming, low-barrier space open to everyone in the community. 

Our services include:

• Food assistance
• Toiletries and hygiene supplies
• Diapers and baby essentials
• Clothing assistance
• Guidance with government benefits and medical insurance applications
• Health screenings through community partnerships
• Resource navigation and referrals to community services

Community Events

Throughout the year, we also offer seasonal assistance, including back-to-school supplies and holiday support, to help ease financial stress for families.

Our Family Center in downtown Bremerton provides trauma-informed services to people in Kitsap County facing instability and crisis.

For almost 30 years, LCSNW has empowered Clallam County families and individuals beset by trauma and poverty to become good parents and financially self-sufficient. We provide an array of services and access to community-based resources necessary for them to sustain healthy, stable households free of abuse, neglect, illness, isolation, hunger and homelessness.

Our services include:

• Assistance signing up for food stamps, Washington Basic Health and other local programs
• Child Check school readiness
• Classes on budget management, health and nutrition
• Working families tax credit
• Computer access

Child Check

Child Check is a universal and free screening program for social, emotional and behavioral development kids 18 months to kindergarten. The program also provides parenting support and resource referrals to Clallam County parents with a focus on helping parents learn more about the development of their children and to encourage the adoption of effective parenting practices.

Financial Literacy

We offer Survival Budgeting, a flexible seven-week financial education course. The class assists families with little to no banking experience who are often the target of predatory lenders. The curriculum focuses on providing skills and tools to help families bank and save money, understand borrowing basics and create a basic budget.

Community Events

We organize two community events in Port Angeles: Kids Fest in the spring and a back-to-school resource fair in August.

Food Pantry and Diaper Distribution

The Port Angeles Family Center and food pantry is open Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.
