Dementia Social Engagement Lead Volunteer

Are you passionate about supporting people with cognitive decline? LCSNW is looking for a dedicated volunteer to take a lead position on two social engagement activities, our Memory Walk and Memory Cafe. Memory Walks take place weekly and are offered in four week sessions at different locations throughout Pierce County. Our Memory Cafe is once monthly at a restaurant in University Place. We are looking for a kind and dedicated volunteer who is familiar with dementia and has the skills to support the care partners as well as those living with dementia. This position will be in charge of arranging, communicating, meeting, and leading groups on a weekly and monthly basis.
